Livonia Senior Wellness Center/Kirksey Recreation Center (Visit our project website to learn more)

• New senior wellness center built northeast of The Rec. July 2024-Nov. 2025 (East FitHub relocated to MAC Gym Aug. 26-29, 2024.)
• New West Gym built west of The Rec. July 2024-Aug. 2025.
• Hubbard Road (south of Five Mile Road) temporary closure. Oct. 21-Nov. 3, 2024.
• Conversion of Main Gyms into multi-purpose studios. July 2025-spring 2026.
  May 19-22: Indoor track closed. May 30: Full facility closure of The Rec. Weight equipment relocating across MAC Gym June 17 for roof replacement. No open gym July 21-24 while an electrical conduit is installed. The cardio area of the FitHub will be unavailable 9 p.m. July 25, but most of the equipment will be available in relocated space in the lobby until late July 27 when it is moved back. Aug. 8-9: The weight room in MAC Gym 1 closed. Aug. 11-26: Temporary Detour for flooring/ceiling installation.
  Aug. 29-30: Kirksey Recreation Center full closure. FitHub equipment to be placed throughout building during FitHub space remodeling.
  Sept. 2: Indoor track closes through at least November.
  Oct. 15: The new gym space opens on the west end of the building.
