Pure Potential Small Business ASSISTANCE

The City of Livonia is proud to launch a second round of our popular Pure Potential Small Business Support Program, an 8-week, cohort-based hybrid program designed to help Livonia-based microenterprises grow and scale in today’s economy. The program provides a combination of direct financial support and hands-on technical assistance to strengthen small business operations and support long-term stability.

Selected participants may receive:

$2,500 cash grant
$1,000 in technical assistance
Expert coaching and 1:1 guidance
Small business training, tools, and resources
Peer learning and accountability

Pure potential talent fund

The City of Livonia is offering grant funding to help local businesses train and upskill employees. Whether you’re in manufacturing, food service, healthcare, retail, or skilled trades, this program helps your business grow while supporting your employees.

The Pure Potential Talent Fund helps your business assist in training, development and retaining current or newly hired employees. Training funded by the Talent Fund must fill a demonstrated talent need experienced by the employer. Training must lead to a credential for a skill that is transferable and recognized by their industry.

Small business is the backbone of any local economy and that's why we strive to make Livonia the #1 place for small businesses and entrepreneurs in Wayne County.

We know that Livonia business owners offer the greatest products and services around but we often hear how they are struggling with learning all the ins and out of business. It's not enough to offer a great product now you have to run your own social media or find employees. This is why we created our Pure Potential Small Business Program.
