    EVERYONE is invited to meet the candidates in this year's local election. The Treats and Meet event is designed with kids in mind but you do not have to have children to get candy and meet the candidates. All 12 candidates will have a trick or treat station along the Mies Park path for you to stop to chat and ask questions from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, October 8th. This is a non-partsasn race and a non-partisan event. Mark your calendars, tell your neighbors and come say hi to the candidates for Mayor, Clerk, Treasurer and City Council. It's not all 'politicians' Laurel's Characters & Co. will bring some magic and free photo opportunities with Ariel and Cinderella.
