Board of Ethics

The Board of Ethics has five members that are appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Council.  The members serve for three years.  The Board has the power to receive requests for advisory opinions from city officials or employees, to receive complaints concerning alleged unethical conduct by a city official or employee and to receive and retain copies of disclosure statements, as well as advisory opinions.  The Ethics Ordinance, adopted in 1997, may be found at Chapter 2.200 of the Livonia Code of Ordinances.  For additional information, please call (734) 466-2520. 
Meetings:  Annually, or if needed, 4th floor conference room, 6:30 p.m.
