Dive-In Movie Incredibles 2 

Get your family and friends together for Dive In Movie Night on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Kirksey Recreation Center. Ditch the stuffy living room and relax in an inflatable raft in our Lap Pool while we show Incredibles 2 on our full color LED scoreboard!
Check-in begins at 5 p.m. and the movie starts at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person for a Wet Ticket (swimming) and $4 per person for a Dry Ticket (non-swimming). There is a limited quantity of rafts available for rent for $1 each. Ticket price increases $1 day of the event. Limited space is available. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Any person in attendance must be able to swim or have the use of a Coast Guard approved life jacket/vest. Register online or at the Kirksey Recreation Center.

Lunch with Santa Dec. 14

Tickets are now available for the annual Lunch with Santa. Register online or at the Kirksey Recreation Center. Lunch with Santa takes place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Civic Park Senior Center, 15218 Farmington Rd. The event, sponsored by Dream Dinners of Livonia, includes lunch, crafts and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Snowmobiles in the woods

Snowmobile Safety Class

Are you ready for Snowmobile season? Due to a generous donation from a friend of the Snowmads Snofari the course on November 16 is FREE of charge, however, you must register.
The class is approved by the State of Michigan Department of Natural Resources MDNR. Students receive 7 hours of instruction from the certified members of the Snomads Snofari Club, on laws and registration of snowmobiles, safe operation, maintenance and first aid among other things. At the conclusion of the class, those students that meet the State of Michigan DNR requirements will be issued their snowmobile safety certificate immediately.
All class material and handouts provided. Students should bring a bag lunch. The class is required for snowmobile operators ages 12-17, but all ages are welcome to register.
