Dive-In Movie Night - JAWS

Get your family and friends together for Dive-In Movie Night, featuring Jaws, on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Kirksey Recreation Center. Ditch the stuffy living room and relax in an inflatable raft in our Lap Pool while we show Jaws on our full color LED scoreboard. Ages 11 and over, please.
Check-in begins at 5 p.m. and the movie starts at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person for a Wet Ticket (swimming) and $4 per person for a Dry Ticket (non-swimming). There are a limited quantity of rafts available for rent for $1 each. Ticket price increases $1 day of event.

Fall Park Clean-Up

The Livonia Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Fall Park Clean-Up Saturday, September 21 beginning at 9 a.m. This special day is designed to spruce up neighborhood parks with the assistance of organizations, families and school groups.
Individual groups choose a park and recruit volunteers to clean that park. Each group will be given trash bags, gloves and encouraged to bring rakes and brooms. After the clean-up, all volunteers are invited to Rotary Park, Six Mile at Hubbard, for a picnic hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department and the Livonia Rotary Club. Pickleball Clinic September 23

Have you ever wanted to try Pickleball? Join us for a FREE Introductory Clinic on Monday, September 23 from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the Kirksey Recreation Center MAC Gym.
It's easy to learn. Pickleball is played on a Badminton size court With a paddle and a plastic ball (similar to a whiffle ball). Equipment will be provided.
