Longest Day Luau

There will be over 13 hours of daylight on Thursday, June 20. Join us in celebration of the first day of Summer at Clements Circle Splash Park, 9999 Harrison Street. Enjoy Luau themed activities from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Pool hours will be from 1 p.m.-9 p.m.
Daily rates for Livonia residents are $5 per adult and $4 per child (3-17) and senior (62 & up). Non-Livonia resident rates are $9 per adult and $7 per child (3-17) and senior (62 & up). Hot dogs and chips will be available for $1 each beginning at 5 p.m.

Leisure Pool Renovation Starts July 8

The Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Leisure Pool will close beginning July 8 for renovations. Renovations will include a Play Structure that allows youth to make discoveries and engage in immersive play.
The Play Structure features 2 slides, blasters, dumping buckets, spinners and bobble nozzles. There will also be a Water Ways cascading adventure for inquisitive waterplayers who like to explore the different ways water moves. Additional renovations include new pool decking and gutters, pool surface, slide and slide tower preventative maintenance. Anticipated completion is Labor Day.
The Lap Pool and Outdoor Spray Pad will remain open during the Leisure Pool closure. We invite you to visit our outdoor pools this summer: Botsford Pool, 19444 Lathers; Clements Circle Splash Park, 9999 Harrison; Shelden Pool, 33123 Van Court.

Summer Camps

Livonia Parks and Recreation offers a wide selection of summer camp programs geared toward specific interests. Specialty camps include tennis, volleyball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, stop motion animation, little medical school, dance and more. Often the camps that focus on a specific interest are shorter in length, so there may be a need to register for more than one camp if you are looking to fill your child’s summer with activities.
