Battlefield Nerf

NEW Battlefield Nerf

Parents, let the kids enjoy a Nerf battle that's not in your house! Bring your Nerf guns and we’ll provide the Nerf darts (please do not bring your own darts) and the obstacles. Teams will be split by our Nerf Nerds (referees) and they will coordinate different games during the hour. Safety glasses will be provided and must be worn during the game. Limited spots per age group (k-2, 3-5, 6-8). Register early. Each group has 50 minutes on the battlefield. Dates: May 11, June 8, July 12, August 9


Archery

NEW Archery Classes 

Livonia Parks and Recreation is expanding archery programs this spring/summer. Classes include Beginner's Archery, where you can learn safety, technique and more.  Classes are 4 weeks and are for ages 8 - Adult.  Archery 101: The Basics, takes your skills to the next level. Archery for Families provides the entire family the opportunity to experience the sport of Archery. Art & Archery gives you the opportunity to create a masterpiece to take home. No experience? no problem! The first part of the class will cover safety and shooting  techniques. Register today for an upcoming class.

Boating Safety

Have a Safe Summer with Boater Safety!

Be safe this summer. Register today for Boater Safety class.

Boater (Marine) is open to all ages. The course, which takes place Saturday, May 11, is designed to teach you how to be a safe and responsible boater. Course covers basic fundamentals: boat maintenance, personal watercraft and boat operation, legal requirements of boating, personal preparedness and survival skills. To earn your safety certificate, you must attend 7 hours of instruction and pass a written exam. Persons born after December 31, 1978 are required by law to have this Certification Card in their possession while operating a PWC on State of Michigan Waterways.
