Greenmead Village Tour and Meet the Beekeepers

Come visit yesterday this summer and take a tour of the village buildings. Self-paced tours are from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, July 13. Begin at Delia's Treasures Gift Shop (located by the stop sign) for your admission pass. Admission is $5 per adult and $3 for those ages 5-17. Please be prepared to pay with cash or check only. Docents will be in each building to share information and answer questions.

Join us near Delia's Treasures during Village Tours to meet Greenmead Beekeepers Randy and Luke! They will have observation hives for you to see the honeybees up close. Ted's Talks

This isn't a TED Talk, it's Ted's Talks!

Ted's Talks are an open forum for questions posed to Ted Davis, the Superintendent of our department. Ted will answer questions and provide updates on capital projects, operations, and programs in Livonia Parks and Recreation. Ted Talks are held 6 p.m. on the first or second Thursday of each month through August.

Tiny Worlds Workshop: Enclosed Edition

Join us for a hands-on experience as you craft your own planted terrarium 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 16! Participants will enjoy a step-by-step session with all materials provided as they engage their creative spirit to craft their own enclosed jar terrarium! Advance registration is required for $22 per resident and $27 per non-resident. This program is best for those ages 16 and older. Register through our online catalog.

Important updates regarding changes to the Kirksey Recreation Center schedules and amenities include:

The leisure pool at The Rec will be closed July 4 to mid-August for pool deck renovations and water slide maintenance. The splash pad at The Rec is currently closed as it is being rebuilt, and it will open mid-summer.
