S'mores and stories

DAIRY DELICOUS 

Our popular summer series is back! Join us 7-8 p.m. Friday, June 13, around the campfire as we enjoy stories, crafts, games, and of course, s’mores! This month's theme is Dairy Delicious. Advance registration is required for $5/child resident, $6/child non-resident. 

This program is best for ages 5-12. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

VILLAGE TOUR and 
meet the beekeepers

Come visit yesterday this summer and take a tour of the village buildings. Self-paced tours will take place 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 22. Begin at Delia's Treasures Gift Shop (located by the stop sign) for your admission pass, $5/adults, $3/children ages 5-17. Docents will be in each building to share information and answer questions.

The Greenmead Beekeepers, Randy and Luke, will have observation hives outside Delia's Treasures. Stop by to learn more about these amazing insects!

Whispers from the Wind

Intro to Nature Journaling

Slow down. Listen closely. There’s a world waiting to be discovered! Join us 2-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, for a hands-on workshop exploring the art of nature journaling. We’ll take a short walk, observe the world around us, and turn those moments into drawings and reflections on the page. Journals and writing utensils provided. Advance registration is required, $15/resident, $18/non-resident. 

This program is best for ages 16 and older. 

35th Annual Garden Walk

Presented by the Friends for the Development of Greenmead

Start your summer with a self-guided stroll through five charming private gardens and landscapes during the Friends of Greenmead's 35th Annual Garden Walk 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 28.

Advance tickets may be purchased online or in person at the Greenmead Office and Bennett Civic Center Library for $9 until Friday, June 27. Please be prepared to pay with cash or check. 

Tickets may be purchased on the day of the walk for $10 at Greenmead's Simmons-Hill House 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or the Bennett Civic Center Library 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please be prepared to pay with cash or check.

Maps of the garden locations will be available the day of the walk only. Participants must provide their own transportation. For more information, please call (248) 477-7375 or visit us online.
