Night of Lights

Night of Lights is returning with more spectacular displays, festive activities, and fun for the whole community! Enjoy formal events 5-8 p.m. Dec. 6-7, 13-15, and 20-22, while the lights will be on view all month long for a festive walk-through experience. A $10 suggested donation per vehicle (cash only) is requested for weekend activities, with all proceeds supporting Greenmead Historical Village. This beloved holiday tradition takes place at Greenmead Historical Village.

This week, join us for a fun-filled Trivia Night 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, inside the historic Alexander Blue House! Gather your team or come solo for a night of friendly competition. Event is for ages 21+. Register today! On Saturday, Dec. 7, you can visit the beloved holiday Grinch and his sweet companion, Cindy-Lou Who. They'll be giving away some off-kilter Grinch gifts! These presents are stink, stank, stunk! Don’t forget your ugliest holiday sweater! Plus, kids can decorate a cookie while supplies last. Our other nightly events and activities, including having Santa as a special guest, will all be available as well!

The exterior walls for the new Livonia Senior Wellness Center continue to rise along the east side of the Kirksey Recreation Center as the footings also take place for the new West Gym.

The Main Gyms will close in 2025 once the new West Gym is complete. The full project is expected to be completed in December 2025. You can visit LivoniaBuilt.org to see the specific timeline for each phase. For more details, check out our Frequently Asked Questions.
