CONSENT AGENDA

1. REQUEST FOR DESIGNATION AS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION: Paula Piccinini, Secretary, Zeal Credit Union Foundation, Inc., re: as required by the State of Michigan to obtain a Charitable Gaming License to allow a raffle fundraiser in the future.

2.  REQUEST TO WAIVE THE SEALED BID PROCESS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT: Livonia Fire & Rescue, re: Professional Services Agreement for Emergency Medical Transportation Billing, from budgeted funds.

3. REQUEST TO ACCEPT A U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE 2024 JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT (JAG) IN CONJUNCTION WITH WAYNE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY: Division of Police, re: to purchase law enforcement equipment, no matching funds are required.

4. AWARD OF BID: Livonia Housing Commission, re: for Tree Removal and Tree Trimming at Silver Village, from budgeted funds.

5. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE ONE AIR-COOLED CHILLER: Department of Public Works, re: for installation at the Livonia Police Department, from budgeted funds.

6.  REQUEST FOR ADDITIONS TO THE LOCAL STREET SYSTEM FOR THE 2025 ACT 51 COMPUTATIONS: Engineering Division, re: for streets or portions thereof, newly opened in 2024.

7. REQUEST TO APPROVE AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND THE CITY OF LIVONIA: Engineering Division, re: for the bridge replacement and road reconstruction of Old Highway M-14 (Ann Arbor Road), Newburgh Road to Market Street with the proposed City's participation to be estimated at $727,300.

8. REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE AN APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE: Engineering Division, re: for the installation of streetlights along Ann Arbor Road from Plymouth Road to Newburgh Road.

9. REQUEST TO APPROVE THE 2025 ROAD REPAIR PROGRAM: Engineering Division, re: as reviewed by the Citizens Advisory Committee on Roads for the third year of the ten-year paving millage approved by the Livonia residents.

10. REQUEST TO AMEND THE ENGINEERING CONTRACT THROUGH QUALIFICATION BASED SELECTION (QBS) PROCESS WITH OHM ADVISORS FOR DESIGN ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE 2025 ASPHALT ROAD PROGRAM (CONTRACT 25-A): Engineering Division, re: same (CR 336-21)

11. REQUEST TO AMEND THE ENGINEERING CONTRACT THROUGH QUALIFICATION BASED SELECTION (QBS) PROCESS WITH ANDERSON, ECKSTEIN & WESTRICK, INC. FOR DESIGN ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE 2025 CONCRETE ROAD PROGRAM (CONTRACT 25-C): Engineering Division, re: same (CR 336-21)

14.  REQUEST FOR PROCLAMATION FOR FAMILY COURT AWARENESS MONTH: Geralyn Morris, Protective Parents Michigan Founder, re: to raise awareness of the need for child safety in Michigan family court.

15. REQUEST TO RENEW THE CITY’S LIABILITY AND PROPERTY INSURANCE COVERAGE: Department of Finance, re:  with the Michigan Municipal Risk Management Authority (MMRMA) for the period from December 1, 2024 to November 30, 2026.

16. AWARD OF CONTRACT:  Department of Finance, re: Workers' Compensation Insurance coverage for the period of December 1, 2024 to November 30, 2026, from budgeted funds.

17. REQUEST TO APPROVE SETTLEMENT: Department of Law, re: for MMRMA Claims in connection with a sewer backup claim.

18. REQUEST TO APPROVE BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING NOVEMBER 30, 2024: Department of Finance, re: same.
