Hands On History

Time machines may be fantasy, but your child can still live history! Children ages 9-12 can join us for a hands-on, two-day 19th-century experience at Greenmead Historical Park 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 14 and 15 for the Hands On History program! During this program, they will participate in various historically-based activities, including militia drills, cooking, games, and more! This event is $50 per participant, and advance registration is required through our official Livonia Parks and Recreation online portal at LivoniaParks.org

If your child has a passing interest in history, this program is perfect for them.
