Geocaching 101

Did you know you can hunt for treasure right in your neighborhood? Join us in the Alexander Blue House 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, to learn the art of using GPS devices and your phone to explore hidden locations! You'll be set for adventure when you discover the thrill of Geocaching! Advance registration is required. The cost is $10 per resident and $12 per non-resident. Advanced sign up is required through our online registration site.

Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor adventure that is happening all the time, all around the world. To play, participants use the Geocaching app and/or a GPS device to navigate to cleverly hidden containers called geocaches.

Greenmead Historical Park Village Tours

Come step back in time to the days of Livonia Township 1-4 p.m. Sunday, July 21, and take a self-paced tour of the village buildings. Docents will be in each building to share its history. Stop in Delia's Treasures Gift Shop (located next to the stop sign in the middle of the park) to make a donation for your admission. No registration is required, but you can mark yourself as going on our Facebook event.

Make sure to stop by the Newburg Church to listen to the delightful sounds of the dulcimer played by Debbie Nicholas.
