Livonia Spree Cornhole Tournament & 5k

The Livonia Spree is June 25-30 this year, and Livonia Parks and Recreation is organizing two events for the festivities. Our first is the Livonia Spree Cornhole Tournament! The competition is taking place 6:15-11 p.m. June 25 at Livonia's Ford Field. This event is for registrants ages 21 and older, and all competitors will have a chance to play at least two games. Only one member of each team needs to register! Registration for this event closes June 21 and costs $20 per team.

The second event Livonia Parks and Recreation is organizing is the Livonia Spree 5k. Whether you're a confident runner or a casual participant, this 5k is for you. This race will start 8:30 a.m. Sunday, June 30, and it will end in a pancake breakfast. Late on-site registration will open at 7:30 a.m., but complimentary t-shirts are not guaranteed now that the early sign-up date has passed. The length of the course and times are non-certified and unchipped. Sign up for both of these events through our online portal!

Senior Center Father's Day Luncheon

Please join us in celebrating fathers! This luncheon, taking place at the Civic Park Senior Center on Friday, June 14, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., will include a nacho style lunch, beverages, desserts, games, prizes, raffles, and giveaways! This event is $7 for Livonia residents and $9 for non-residents. You can register online through our catalog, or in person at the Senior Center or Kirksey Recreation Center. Due to the popularity of these special events and limited seating, you may only register yourself and one other person. Ladies are welcome to the party, but only the men will be entered into the free raffle.
