The Kirksey Recreation Center is hosting the third Pop Up Play event at 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 16, with board games in the Lobby. This event is free for all ages if you are a member or have a day pass. The events have limited times and are on a first-come, first-served basis. No pre-registration is required.

skyhawks summer camps

Let’s get the kids trying multiple types of sports! Skyhawks Sports Academy Camps are coming up Mondays-Fridays, June 24-28, July 8-12, July 22-26 and Aug. 12-16, all from 9 a.m. to noon for ages 5-7 and 1-4 p.m. for ages 8-11 at the Kirksey Recreation Center. Try out all the activities offered for both age groups, from soccer to flag football and more! You can register here.
The Mackinac Bridge: Connecting Two Peninsulas And One People

Join us at Greenmead Historical Park's Alexander Blue House 2 p.m. Monday, March 18, to listen to Jim Cameron trace the story of the Mackinac Bridge and its opening in 1957, creating a direct link between our two peninsulas. No pre-registration required; free to attend.
