1.REQUEST TO BARRICADE CITY STREETS: Chris Inch, Stevenson Cross Country Head Coach, re: on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. through Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 12:00 a.m., with a rain date of August 19, 2023, on Perth Street from Stark Road until it dead-ends West of Farmington, for a nighttime high school cross country meet.
2.BLOCK PARTY: Carol Dobos and Nimosa Farazza, re: to be held Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., on Cranston Street between Scone and Perth Streets, with a rain date of Sunday, August 27, 2023.
3.REQUEST TO WAIVE THE DRIVEWAY ORDINANCE REQUIREMENT: Jason Renaud, re: to waive City Ordinance 12.04.205 (1), Curb cuts, from a maximum of twenty-five (25) feet to thirty-one (31) and one half (0.5) feet.
4.REQUEST TO APPROVE QUARTERLY BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS: Department of Finance, re: for the first and second quarter of the 2023 Fiscal Year Budget.
5.REQUEST TO APPROVE HOURLY RATE INCREASES: Department of Civil Service, re: for the grant classifications of Bus Driver and Dispatcher II.
6.REQUEST TO APPROVE ADVANCED SALARY ENTRANCE STEP: Department of Civil Service, re: for the incoming Library Director.
7.REQUEST TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT BETWEEN CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF CANTON AND THE CITY OF LIVONIA: Department of Parks and Recreation, re: for reimbursement of day pass use of the Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Center by Summit on the Park members beginning August 1, 2023, and ending five (5) days after the City receives reopening notice of the Summit pool.
8.REQUEST TO APPROVE THE HOLIDAY PARADE AND TREE LIGHTING ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2023; REQUEST TO APPROVE PARADE ROUTE AND THE CLOSING OF CERTAIN CITY STREETS; TO REQUEST PERMISSION FROM WAYNE COUNTY TO CLOSE FARMINGTON ROAD FROM LYNDON TO FIVE MILE, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 4:00 P.M. AND 5:00 P.M., OR UNTIL THE ROAD IS RETURNED TO NORMAL TRAFFIC OPERATION, TO AUTHORIZE SENIOR POLICE OFFICER MICHAEL ARAKELIAN TO SIGN THE ROAD CLOSURE PERMIT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND THAT THE CITY OF LIVONIA WILL ASSUME LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE CLAINS RESULTING FROM THE ROAD CLOSURE: Department of Parks and Recreation, re: same.

12.REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S NOISE ORDINANCE: Jacob Ermete, re: to host a concert event on Friday, August 5, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with live music and DJs on property located at 9820 Levan Road.
13.PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF TAX-FORECLOSED PROPERTY: Livonia Housing Commission, re: to acquire the property located at 11745 Inkster, for a total of $13,476.19, including estimated closing costs, through the Community Development Block Grant Program.
14.REQUEST TO SCHEDULE A CLOSED COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING: Department of Law, re: for the purpose of discussing pending litigation and attorney/client privileged communications with respect to Middlebelt Plymouth Venture, LLC v City of Livonia; U.S. District Court Case No. 2:22-cv-12734.
