Party Like it's the 1920s at Greenmead's Gatsby Garden Party

Get ready for a bee’s knees day of 1920s fun! Greenmead Historical Park’s beautiful historic Simmons-Hill House and gardens will serve as our Gatsby Garden Party site from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 16.

Play 1920s lawn games, dance to Jazz music, take your picture at the paper moon and immerse yourself in times gone by. Historic apparel is encouraged! You can bring your own food, or purchase from our vendor's food truck. Register online today.

Girls Can Try Hockey for Free July 20

Calling all girls ages 4-14! We’re excited to announce our first Girls Try Hockey and Ready Set Play ice hockey programs for summer 2022 at Eddie Edgar Arena. Come try hockey for FREE July 20 and skate with our LGH coaches and players.

Unicorns! Dragons! Star Wars!

If your 6-12 year old is creative and a fan of unicorns, dragons, mythical creatures or Star Wars, they may enjoy our pair of Creative Nature Art and Design mini camps.

Join us July 18-19 for unicorn, dragon and mythical creature fun, and July 21-22 for Star Wars creations. Both camps run 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Kirksey Recreation Center as students paint, draw and sculpt using step-by-step instructions and their imaginations.
