Outdoor Pools Opening Saturday; The Longest Day Coming June 21

The outdoor pools at both Clements Circle Splash Park and Botsford Pool are opening for the season noon-6:45 p.m. Saturday, June 18.

Outdoor pool hours and details on daily fees for non-members/passholders can be found at Livonia.gov/407. Outdoor pool access is included in a Kirksey Recreation Center membership.

Members and passholders also gain access to The Longest Day from 1-9 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, at Clements Circle Splash Park, featuring Hawaiian luau-themed staff-led games and activities from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Summer Classes Start Next Week

Summer classes are starting up the week of June 20. Whether you're looking at our newer Challenge Fitness, Slow Flow Yoga or SHiNE Fitness classes, a youth program, or some other classics with your favorite instructors, make sure to sign up now before classes begin or fill up completely.

The Livonia Spree is Back! But Needs Volunteers to Help It Run Smoothly

Do you look forward to the Livonia Spree all year long? Have you ever wondered how it all comes together? It wouldn't come together without people just like you volunteering their time. Join the celebration and sign up to volunteer!

The Spree will run from June 21-26, with hours 2-11 p.m. Tuesday, 4-11 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and noon-midnight Saturday-Sunday. The fireworks are scheduled for 10:15 p.m. Sunday, June 26. A schedule of events and activities is listed at LivoniaSpree.com.
