Pickleball Options Available for All Skill Levels This Month
If you are a pickleball player or are interested in getting to know the sport, the next few weeks is your time to shine!
Spring Pickleball Ladder Leagues are nearly full. The Monday league has a waiting list for the
May 9 season and the Wednesday league starting
May 11 will be full soon. These singles leagues will take place
6:30 p.m. weekly at Bicentennial Park.
We are hosting a
Spring Slice Recreational Pickleball Tournament 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at Bicentennial Park. Doubles teams will compete in at least five first-to-11-points games as they vie for the title. Participants must be rated 2.5 or below to play in this non-sanctioned, recreational tournament.
For the true newcomers, we're holding an introductory Pickleball Clinic
10 a.m. Monday, May 16, at the Kirksey Recreation Center MAC Gyms. This free drop-in event will provide equipment for anyone ages 18 and older.
