Stop by the Kirksey Recreation Center’s front desk to check room availability and use one of the TVs set up with the service in each the Multi-Purpose Room and (coming soon) the Activity Room. Visit Livonia.gov/1826 for more information.

DPW Open House Flyer

DPW Holding Open House Oct. 9

You may have seen it in various stages of construction while driving down Farmington Road over the past year, but the new Department of Public Works building at 12973 Farmington Road is finally complete! We’re celebrating by inviting the public to join us for a free, fun, family event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9.

This open house will give you more than a chance to explore the new building that houses the parks maintenance team who maintains our parks, the equipment used to keep snow off our roads and our roads intact. It’ll also have a mini Touch-a-Truck opportunity for the kids, giveaways, cider, doughnuts and more!
