Turkey Trot 5K Returning Nov. 6

The Healthy Livonia Turkey Trot is back! We’re revved up and planning to run this event 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Bicentennial Park. Participants of all ages can walk or run the 5K course down Wayne Road from Seven Mile to Six Mile Road, west to Levan and north back up to Seven Mile before reconnecting back near the fire station. There is no official timing, bibs or awards for this non-certified course. We’re here for fun!

Registration is now open. Register by Oct. 18 to receive a t-shirt. Canned good donations are also being accepted at the race and will allow entry into a raffle for prizes donated by local businesses. All proceeds and canned food donations will benefit the Livonia Goodfellows in providing Livonia families in need with a Christmas dinner.
