Pavilion Rentals Begin Today

Picnic pavilion reservations for the 2020 season will be issued on a first come, first served basis for Livonia residents beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at the Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Center, 15100 Hubbard. The Kirksey Recreation Center opens at 5 a.m. Open dates will be available to both residents and non-residents beginning at 6 a.m. on Feb. 5 online or in person. Payment in full is due at the time of reservation.
It is recommended that reservations be obtained for groups of 20 or more at least a week in advance.

T-Ball/Coach Pitch Registration 

It’s time to think Spring! Registration for T-Ball, ages 5-6, and Coach Pitch, ages 7-8, is going on now through March 22. Register online or in person at the Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Center, 15100 Hubbard. 
The league is an introduction to the concept of baseball and softball. Youngsters receive instruction and scrimmage with other teams. Sportsmanship, fun and participation are stressed.

Mom 2 Mom Sale

Livonia Parks and Recreation is hosting a Mom 2 Mom and Used Sports Sale at the Kirksey Recreation Center on Sunday, March 22. We will have tables of gently used children’s clothing, toys, books and sports equipment at a fraction of the cost of buying them new!
Buyers: Early bird admission is available from 8 - 9 a.m. for $2 Admission after 9 a.m.$1.
Sellers: Purchase table space to re-sell your child-related items and sports equipment. $30 for a 10x10 booth (1 table and 2 chairs). Extra tables are available for $12 each. To register as a seller contact Billy at wkeppen@ci.livonia.mi.us
