SNOW EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION OPTIONS
When the City declares a Snow Emergency Alert, it is very important to remove all vehicles from the streets to allow snow plows to complete their task.

In recognition of this, the City offers multiple ways for you to be alerted to a declared Snow Emergency.
E-MAIL ALERTS
If you sign up for this option, the City will send out an e-mail alert when a snow emergency is declared.

TEXT MESSAGING ALERTS
If you sign up for this option, the City will send your cell phone a short text message when a snow emergency is declared.

WEB SITE ALERTS 
When a snow emergency is declared, the City website (www.ci.livonia.mi.us) will have a banner added in the top of the middle section in yellow notifying you of the snow emergency.
 
LIVONIA TELEVISION ALERTS  
The City will broadcast on the Livonia Television Channel when a snow emergency is declared.
 
AM 1670 RADIO ALERTS
The City will broadcast on the City AM 1670 radio station when a snow emergency is declared.

CALL PUBLIC SERVICE AT ANYTIME
You call Livonia Public Service at any time at (734) 466-2655. If a snow emergency is in effect the announcement of the emergency will be at the beginning of the greeting message and by pressing seven (7) additional information will be available.
